SAN FRANCISCO ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Daniela & Jon

   I recently had the pleasure of photographing Daniela and John for their engagement session at Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California. From the moment they inquired about their session, I could tell that they were looking for something special – a cozy, warm, and romantic shoot that documented their love in an honest & effortless way.

Daniela and John had a clear vision in mind when they described their ideal session to me. They wanted a mix of east coast, Doen feels . I was excited to bring their vision to life through film, as I knew that the rich, organic tones and timeless quality of film would bring to life the beauty of Point Reyes National Seashore and their love.

As we arrived at our location, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the breathtaking scenery around us. The rugged coastline, expansive beaches, and crashing waves. I knew that shooting on film would allow me to capture the true essence of their love in a way that digital photography just couldn't replicate.

Throughout the session, I focused on creating intentional and meaningful images that gave a glimpse into Daniela and John's love. I wanted each frame to feel like a frame from a vintage romance film – filled with emotion, honesty, and a sense of timelessness. I embraced the slow and deliberate process of shooting on film, taking the time to carefully frame each shot and waiting for the moment to document.

I am so grateful for the ways Daniela & John trusted me to document them slowly & intentionally and that they were so whole-heartedly present with one another which allowed me to step back and truly observe.
